The Meridian Works

A former auto parts factory converted into 84 permanently affordable housing units and a community fabrication lab. The project returned 3.2 acres to community ownership and created 120 construction jobs for local residents.

The Foundry District

A 7-acre former steel foundry slated for community acquisition. The project will create 200 units of permanently affordable housing and a workforce training center focused on green construction trades.

The Carver Block

A historically Black commercial district threatened by luxury redevelopment. We acquired the block, restored the storefronts to their 1940s character, and created 24 affordable housing units above — permanently protecting a cornerstone of New Orleans' African American heritage.

Southside Urban Farm

Twelve vacant lots consolidated into a 2.4-acre urban farm and food distribution hub on Chicago's South Side. The farm produces 40,000 lbs of fresh produce annually, distributed free or at cost to 3,000 households.
